Quality Assurance (QA)

How we use CMM inspections and OES material analysis to exceed ISO 9001 standards and eliminate the risk of offshore manufacturing.

"Will the parts fit?" This is the single biggest anxiety for engineers outsourcing production. In the past, "Made in China" sometimes implied inconsistent tolerances. But in the era of Industry 4.0, geography is no longer a predictor of quality—process is.

At InstaMfg, we don't just "check" parts. We have built a digital quality thread that aligns with the rigorous standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Here is how we guarantee your specs are met.

01. Material Integrity (No Fake Metals)

Quality starts before machining begins. It is impossible to verify an alloy grade just by looking at it. That is why we use Optical Emission Spectrometry (OES) on every raw stock batch.

We verify that the chemical composition matches the ASTM International specifications. Whether you order Aluminum 7075 or Stainless 316L, you receive a digital Material Test Report (MTR) linking the batch number to the physical part.

Why this matters: Using the wrong alloy can lead to catastrophic failure in aerospace or medical applications. We ensure traceability back to the mill.

02. In-Process Inspection

Traditional shops inspect parts only after they are finished. If a mistake happened in Step 1, it isn't found until Step 10.

We utilize Renishaw On-Machine Probing. Our CNC machines automatically probe critical features during the cycle. If a dimension is drifting due to tool wear, the machine auto-corrects immediately. This closed-loop feedback is essential for maintaining tight tolerances (±0.01mm).

03. Your Digital Quality Documentation

When you manufacture with InstaMfg, you don't just get a box of parts. You get a full quality dossier. Click the tabs below to see what a standard report looks like:
